Escape Beyond

Escape Beyond is a 2D retro roguelite arcade game where players battle enemies using fast, arcade-style combat combined with roguelite shop progression. The core loop revolves around building energy through pinball gameplay and converting it into damage during block-buster-style combat sequences.

The game delivers fast, responsive gameplay that is easy to learn but hard to master, with clear visuals and nostalgic sound design. It blends classic pinball mechanics with roguelite upgrades and collectibles, and all footage shown comes from the current playable build. Escape Beyond is developed by a small indie team of university students from the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava.
